Personal photography is all about capturing those special moments and stages in life, of yourself, your baby, your family, your partner, your friends and your pets.

Celebrate your love, with something special and trendy; have a series of romantic prints or canvases made of you, individually, as a couple or both.

We provide a relaxed atmosphere at our photo shoots and try to capture natural images that reflect the individual characters of your family and friends. Depending on your requirements, we can either take posed shoots for a studio look, or more inpromptu images that generally capture more of the character of the subject(s), or a combination of these.

We can supply quality prints, trendy stretched canvas, hand painted oil paintings and other media.

While we normally do portraiture in our studio, we can also do photo shoots at your home or at any other suitable location.

We are able to take professional photographs of most pets and take the same amount of care when taking pictures of your pet, as when doing portraiture of people. The digital age has brought about a revolution in image enhancement. Today virtually every business related image in publications, websites, presentations and other media will have been enhanced in one form or another, this is now available for your personal images.

Even images of 'Super models' are 'touched up' before publication. This even applies when the image was shot in the studio with the best lighting and with the full backup support of makeup artists, hair stylists and garment fitters.

Personal image enhancement
Because you will often look at your personal images every day, whether by the bedside, on the wall, at your work place, you will want images of yourself or your loved ones to look great; we now offer image enhancement and digital cosmetic surgery at reasonable prices to enhance your personal images.

The main reasons for enhancing or doing digital cosmetic surgery on personal images typically includes, image softening, sun burn under eyes, reducing or removing skin problems, whitening teeth, touching up or adding makeup, adjusting shape, etc. A more exaustive list for doing general image enhancement is included below with some examples, but first...

If an image is to be used in a publication all of the freckles in the top example would probably have been removed, in this case they were only reduced as removing them altogether would not represent the individual photographed, which is important for personal and family images.

Image enlargement services.

Image enlargement and printing service
We provide a personalised image enlargement and printing service for your images. The quality of your original image affects the quality of the enlarged image and while we can also do image enhancement to improve the image quality there are limits to the final image quaility. You can either send us a CD with your image, or for images less than 2 MBytes you can email us your image. We accept the following image types JPG, GIF, BMP, TIF, and PNG. We can ship the enlargement directly to you. Note we do not process unsuitable content. Please email us your request for more details on this service.

Pricing.

While we tailor our photographic services to meet your requirements, our great prices make having professional photographs affordable and easy, for both individuals and businesses. We have included some pricing information below but invite you to contact us if you have special or a business requirement.

Special package for portraits taken at our studio.

Our special portraiture package includes portraiture for babies, children, adults, mother and baby, couples, families, and groups.

We tailor each portrait session to accomodate your individual needs, be it a formal portrait look, a natural look, a romaintic look, a loving image, a glamorous look or a fun image.

Our special package includes:

A half hour studio shoot.
Typically we will take about 20 pictures during the half hour session.
An 10 x 6.6 inch sized photo quality print of your selected image.
We include basic image enhancement for the selected image.

You get all this for just £35.00

During the photo session we will take a number of images and aim to capture a number of quality images for you to treasure. With portrait photography there are however numerous factors that affect capturing a great portrait image; this is especially true with babies, children and pets. If we are unable to capture a great portrait image during the photo session we can either extend the photo shoot session (if the studio is available) or schedule a second session at a convinient time.

We can arrange a photo shoot at a convinient time for you including evenings and weekends. For photo shoots including babies and children please consider the best times for them.

The £25.00 is payable when you book the special portrait session. We provide a full money back guarantee if we are unable to capture a portrait image that you will treasure, providing you turn up at the scheduled time and make adequate preperations for the photo shoot. We have provided a FREE guide to help you prepair for your portrait session.

Photo sessions at your home of other suitable location.

If you would like us to photograph you, your family or friends outside the studio we are happy to provide you with a price for doing this. The price for outside photo shoots is based on our studio pricing and additional costs involved in traveling, time and any additional expences such as entrance fees, hire of rooms etc. For locations where permission needs to be obtained to take pictures, sufficient advance warning needs to be provided for us to obtain such permission.

Longer portrait sessions.

We provide longer portrait sessions for situations where more flexibility or time is required. Typically these sessions will take from 1 to 3 hours. The increased time, allows for more variations to be explored, than when using the special portrait option that is limited to half an hour.

The main reasons for using a longer session include:

You have a number of outfits and poses you would like taking, maybe for a model or personal portfolio.
You have a number of family members that you would like photographing.
You would like more setups than can be accomodated in a shorter session.

Studio time £20.00 / hr
Basic image enhancement £5.00 / image enhanced.

Business photography.

Business photography varies dramatically from product photography, to photography for adverts, flyers and the web. We charge for business photography based on the services and goods provided and may include:

Studio time at £20.00 / hr.
Transport costs based on distance, cost and time.
Set, design, manufacture and set up costs + clean up costs.
Accomodation costs.
Model fees.
Services of support personel (Makeup, Hairdresser etc).
Image processing £20.00 / hr.
Hire / rent of any special equipment or facilities.
Printing costs.
Location charges.
Any other related costs.

Additional image enhancement, image corrections, image modifications and digital cosmetic surgery.

Where you require additional image processing for either personel or business images these are charged at a standard rate of £5.00 / 15 minutes (£20.00 / hr). This includes all additional image enhancement including digital cosmetic surgery.

Photographic paper prints and canvas prints.

We can provide additional prints on either quality photographic prints or on other media such as trendy stretched canvas.

We can provide you with low cost miniture prints (approx postcard size) for your images.
